WHAT SETS US APART
Seema Banerjee is a biomedical engineer who has spent her career at the intersection of medical science and clinical impact. She began at Philips Healthcare as a clinical specialist on a new IVD platform, then moved into image-guided therapy, helping scale a minimally invasive lung oncology intervention into a multi-country clinical network before leading its global business development.
She went on to help build the MedTech and oncology vertical at an AI-based lung analysis scale-up, work that led to the introduction of a new product in the company's portfolio. Advising MedTech startups worldwide across IVD, point-of-care diagnostics, wearables, digital health, SaMD, and diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, she saw the same pattern repeat: promising innovations stalling not from failed science, but from a system that couldn't sustain the long journey to patients.
